Cox’s Bazar is a tourist city located in south-eastern part of Bangladesh. It belongs to the Chittagong division. Here remains the longest natural sandy beach of the world, which extends up to 155 kilometers (96 miles) from Cox’s Bazar to Badmokam. Here is situated the largest marine fishing port of Bangladesh and the submarine cable landing station. Cox’s Bazar is located 152 kilometers south of Chittagong city. It’s distance from Dhaka
is 414 km. It is the largest tourism center of Bangladesh.
As it is the centre of tourism, many tourist spots have been founded here. Here you can find the country's first and only Fish Aquarium. There are also parasailing, water biking, beach biking, Cox Carnival circus show, Daria Nagar eco-park, numerous architectural institutions, features park, child park and neumourous photo shoot spots., There is also the largest safari park of the country, the Bangabandhu Safari Park. There are also Teknaf Geological Park.

Himchari and Inani beach :
There are two interesting tourist spots within 12 to 22 kilometers of Cox's Bazar. One is Himchari and the other is Inani. Cox’s Bazar is just 22 kilometers away from the sea. one of the most attractive beach is Inani Sea Beach. And on the way to this beach, only within 12 kilometers there will be available another tourist destination ,Himchari.
Labani Point :
Because of its proximity to the city of Cox’s Bazar, Labani Point is considered to be the main beach of Cox’s Bazar. There are many big shops in the adjacent areas of the beach, offering different types of things which are an extra attraction for tourists.
BEACH MARKET :
Here are the Jhinuk market for the tourists. The Burmese market has been developed with different types of goods derived from Myanmar (eastern name – Burma), Thailand, China etc., along the border. There are several large shops in the adjacent areas of the beach, with lots of other attractions, which adde more interest for tourists.
HOW TO GO :
Those who want to go to Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka, can directly go to Cox’s Bazar or from Dhaka to Chittagong and then cox’s bazar. Youaa lso can go by air.. Buses set off to Cox's Bazar from Fakirapul, Arambagh, Motijheel and from several places of Dhaka. AC and non-AC, Deluxe and general buses will be charged for 400-100 taka. In addition to the Sohag, Green Line, the buses of Eagles and other transports also carry out the passengers of cox’s bazar. Everyday train or bus leaves from Dhaka's Kamalapur railway station. But it would be better to book the ticket previously.

Almost every residential hotel has a restaurant or food hotel nearby. Cox's Bazar drags most of the tourists attention to the seafood fish menu. Especially the attraction of tourists is in to the interseting fishes such as shrimp, laitya, knife fish, and delicious dried fish.
